I recently received a very scary medical diagnoses. The moment that I received that news the things that normally upset me or angered me or frustrated me disappeared. It was very liberating! After I got past that alarming health scare I decided to work on retraining my thoughts so I could hold on to that liberated sense of being!  I started by focusing on enjoying the large sense of happiness brought about by the smallest of things…like an old photo!

To help keep me focused on the many really great things in my life I started a “Gratitude” journal! Here are my first entries:

This way I can minimize  indulgence in “pity partying”😎
